Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A K-12 educational setting in Pontiac, MI is seeking a skilled occupational therapist to provide specialized support to high school students. This contract position is designed for professionals with specific experience in school-based occupational therapy, emphasizing hands-on intervention and collaboration to enhance student outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct occupational therapy services to high school students in an onsite environment.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans that address students functional needs within the school setting.
• Collaborate with educators, school staff, and families to support student participation and learning.
• Maintain accurate documentation of services and progress according to school guidelines.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) licensure with demonstrated experience in school-based settings.
• Proven ability to work effectively within a K-12 educational environment, particularly with high school populations.
• Strong knowledge of therapeutic techniques relevant to educational goals and student participation.
• Experience complying with school district policies and collaborative team work in educational contexts.

Location and Schedule:

• Onsite position located in Pontiac, Michigan.
• Contract duration: Current school year ending June 12, 2026.
• Part-time schedule approximately 15 hours per week.

Additional Details:

• This role requires direct OT services only; Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTA) are not eligible.
• Immediate availability is preferred to begin services promptly.
